Abstract
In recent years, circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boilers, with superior environmental protection character, wide fuel adaptability and good performance capability, are popular and quickly developed. Especially in last decade, the large-scale unit has made breakthrough progress. The representative is the 250MW CFB boiler in French Provence Plant, which successfully put into operation. The competition in oversea CFB boiler market has become increasingly severe: the GEC Alstom Ltd in France has purchased German EVT Company, French Stein Company and American ABB-CE Company; The US FW Company annexed Ahlstrom Pyropower Company in Finland. Different genres of CFB combustion technologies gradually integrated and mutually infiltrated, which finally formed two super CFB Boiler technology groups of FW Company in US and GEC Alstom Company in France.
China is the world's largest total CFB boilers installed capacity country. Since the first operational 50MW CFB boiler in 1995, during the last 10 years, China has leaped from the high-pressure, ultrahigh pressure boil to subcritical 300MW CFB boiler technology. According to incomplete statistics, up to now there are 179 units of 100-200MW of CFB boilers; 11 units of 300MW one. The operational number produced by Shanghai Boiler Co., Ltd., Harbin Boiler Co., Ltd., and Dongfang Boiler Co., Ltd. is 4, 4 and 3 respectively. The design of supercritical 600MWeCFB boiler has already completed.
The basic research and engineering application of CFB boilers in China lags behind aboard. In recent years, the domestic market of CFB boilers has expanded rapidly, the main manufacturers insist the technical route as combining foreign technology and independent development together, coupled with cooperation with universities and institutes extensively, the overall level has achieved to the level of late 1990s in foreign countries.
